WOYWW 286

This is my desk... actually this is my desk yesterday evening while I was making an envelope to wrap a scarf for my friend's Mum who is having her 80th birthday this weekend.
I decided to make a little post it note holder while I was sitting there... she might find that handy as she has a much busier diary than most people who are half her age! ;)
Oh and I also had a tidy up in the corner of the scraproom, so bit by bit I am finding things and homing them properly!  It could take a while but I will get there in the end! LOL
If you are wondering why I am showing you my desk then pop over to Julia's and she will explain it all, then join in and have a good nosey at all sorts of wonderful crafts!

  5. Your room looks lovely and I want to come and play. Especially if you teach me to make some of the fab makes you do - but that would take weeks as I love so much. The envelope for the scarf is lovely and so is the note holder - am sure she will be thrilled.
    Thanks for sharing

  6. I think you'll have to hold a WOYWW crop in your room as so many folk want to come and play there!! It is a very inviting space indeed out of which come many glorious items :-). I love that envelope and note holder, gorgeous colours....I love that fact that you've gone for a strong colour in stead of the pastels that so many assume are the proper colours for an 80 year old.

  11. Lovely packaging of the gift and great idea to bind the post-its. That is a mighty big awl there! I've only just got into book binding myself and recently bought an awl but it's only about half the size of yours! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #41

  12. What a lovely gift wrap and the postit holder is such a nice touch.
Your room looks great. Hope you remember where you have 'housed' stuff. I put things away that have been lying on my desk for weeks and then when I need it I can't remember where I put it....
    Thanks for sharing,
    Have a great week,

  15. It's starting to look like you're going to make it. You can even see the forest for the trees. I know it will get there soon, because, like me, you are a bit of a neat freak.

Those are lovely gifts you have created. Yes, I'm counting the envelope as a gift. It looks like a gift to me.

I hope to start playing in WOYWW again next week, but right now, I'm so far behind, I have no idea if I'll ever catch up. I'm sure you know the feeling. Now I have to get off here and start creating a Thanksgiving meal, or at least my share of it!
